It's been a while!

So this semester has been hectic and crazy to say the least! Jackson applied to the first three grad schools on his list and got into two of them! We were able to go to Denver, to visit the campus and he got the chance to interview there. We loved Denver so much, it had a fun atmosphere, the food was great, and the people were nice. However, when the offer was extended from Kentucky we felt like it was the right place to go! So in just a few short months we will be moving across the country to Kentucky! We will live in Lexington and get to experience a nice big college town. I am excited because the cost of living is similar to Idaho and they have a trader joe's so there is nothing better really.
Well this semester is drawing to a close, and I am almost a little sad to not really be returning to campus other than to meet with my advisor to get my internship accredited and to turn in one final paper in the next few months about that internship. I have learned so much, changed, and grew up here. Jackson and I have been here for so long, we joke how it is way past time to leave. However, that's the reason it is going to be so hard to leave. This community, though ridiculous at times, has helped me make some of the best friendships I have ever had. Where else can you say that all of your closest friends live within 5 miles of you (or maybe your very own apartment complex!) I have lived here and gone to school since I was 17. After a few years and taking some time off at different points I am now 22. This is where Jackson and I met, fell in love, had our first kiss, got our first apartment, went through our first move, and accomplished pretty big goals here. We have changed and grown together here!
I know we still have a few months left, but this type of reflection happens when you know there is change laying on the horizon. I am excited to spend our last few months during the beginning of spring and summer because this is when Rexburg is the most beautiful. We are excited for our new adventures! I can't wait to graduate and walk in July with my sweet heart and take our adventures to Kentucky! Go wildcats!
